What is going on with Emmi now? The story you just read - is a real story and I am now serving red dot God with YWAM-Thailand. God has given me so much blessing, He made the way for me to come to know who He really is. He has given me hope and future... and through my personal experience - I would like to help other Thai children to get to know Christ as well because I know that He is the only God that can give life. Thailand has population of 67 million and less than 1.5% are Christian and 94.5 are Buddhist. We are one of the most un-evangelized nations on earth. Many Thai people do not believe in one God but they accepted many gods. As I work as a team coordinator, I am able to get in touch and come in contact with many people - I am praying about how I would be able to raise support to help group of kids in one of the churches that I am very close relationship with. Some of these kids, for instance two boys... these two brothers are living on the street as they cannot go home because their step father red dot abuse them everyday.... and their mother do not care anything about them and trying to convince the pastor to take them... the pastor and his family get very low salary from the church as it is a very small church so they are not able to so anything about it... the pastor and his wife talked to me and asked me for help.... I would like to be the voice who communicate this to the rest of the world... What can you do to be involve?
I believe God is able to do anything... so I am praying a lot about it and really feel a big burden in my heart about this urgent issue.... You can pray for us and pray for the children that God will bless this project and ask God what you can do to be involve. You can travel to Thailand and see what kind of need you can extend God’s hand to touch and help these children. You can tell your friends and family about the kids story and ask them to pray for this project. You can give money to help start this project and adopt a children as one of your’s through scholarship program. Pray that these children will come to know Christ and follow Him. Friend For Life (FFL) is a new project to provide scholarship program to help the poor kids to be able to continue their study in their school. Through doing this we hope to see them continue to follow Jesus. We are working as YWAM and Sanpatong Church. We now have 30 children applying to get scholarship the age is between 11-18 years old. If these children are not able to continue their school, it is a high risky chance for them to end up at the prostitution bars and work in sexual industry, or might end up going down in the way they should red dot not go. Even though the Thai government says that Thai students should get free education till finish high school - but in reality it is impossible for many of the students, as some of them are from broken family, lost their parent, un-wanted in their own home and many others problems. “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO GOD” We all believe that - I also believe red dot that because He did it for me and I pray that He will do more for other children in Thailand as well. “PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYERS” “Emmi” - YWAM-Chiangmai Thailand
