The Extraordinary Meeting of Rectors who met on 11/22/2014 in Athens, considered critical and urgent issues that have arisen regarding the operation of universities and unanimously reached the following: On the issue of university budgets gun mayhem 2 finds that in no case can not be the functioning of institutions in 2015 on the basis of new dramatic reductions in their budgets, which are already reduced by over 50% compared with 2009.
Apply for an increase in their grant in accordance with the commitments of the Ministries of Education and Finance to ensure their basic viability. On the issue of determining the number of entries in the Universities, the Conference considers gun mayhem 2 that it is appropriate and should be resolved within the law, as in force, ie on the basis of program agreements for four years, as the number of imported entirely depends on the capabilities of logistic infrastructure, financial and human resources.
On the issue of the availability of staff of the Universities, the Conference gun mayhem 2 recalls that both the study of ADIP and that the external consultant of the Ministry of Education, note the dramatic staffing of all Universities, demonstrating that the measure of availability was illogical, unreasonable and inefficient.
