Iconic S eries Canal +, there appeared nine years, Gears is back in action for a fifth season Monday night on the pay channel. This new album in twelve parts testament to the difficulty of living a fiction over time. There are the characters which one is accustomed, Captain Laure Berthaud, Judge François Roban or lawyer Josephine Carlson. We are on familiar ground, building intrigue remains strong, the suspense is present and spared, but it was difficult to see what really distinguishes this version of the previous two.

The great strength of Gears, under the leadership of Anne Landois remains the interweaving of various side stories that are conducted simultaneously. This is for me the best French series of its kind that has been given me to see. Precisely are very realistic tone that I like. The characters are real, they are all amazing actors. Some weaknesses in the implementation -sometimes connections problems. bushnell But I forgive all this series magnificently scripted and performed. I have yet to see the last episode of this season 5. Hoping that there is a 6th season ....
It remains the 12th episode to see, but against most of the views expressed, it is to me by far the best season: very well-crafted plot, triggering an investigation without weakness during the season ( This was the case with previous formats to 12 episodes), with excellent management of the tracks. bushnell Psychologies are dug even better, the problem of Laure pregnancy is perfectly integrated into the plot. I also enjoyed some choices: the views of Paris were abandoned in favor of small free and welcome times; framing is much tighter, putting all the better value the quality of interpretations.
